What features do you want added to Agenda next?

Poll time again. The most popular features from our last poll have now shipped, including advanced tables, drag and drop, contacts integration, attachment search, Send to Agenda, the Apple Watch app, and Ask Agenda. So here is a fresh list of what could come next.

As before, this does not guarantee we will build something, but the more popular choices are more likely to make it in. Choose up to 5.

• Describe a search in plain language and have Agenda create the search
• Smarter AI: auto-tag notes, file them into projects, and summarise a whole project
• Edit the rules of existing Smart Overviews, and organise overviews into categories
• Callouts showing sections of other notes, and comments in the editor
• Audio recording in notes, with transcription
• Sync options beyond iCloud, such as Nextcloud, Proton Drive or WebDAV, keeping your data local-first and yours
• Rich link previews: show web pages and YouTube as previews inline, not just a title
• Web clipper for Chrome and Firefox, and on iPhone and iPad
• Apple Watch complications and notifications for upcoming note events
• Themes: custom colours and fonts, including a less bright light theme
• People and tags as collapsible sections in the sidebar, with no custom smart overview needed. Select to see instant matches
• Collaboration on whole projects and categories, not just individual notes

This: Show reminder title in the note

For me… because this annoys me all the day… : being able to delete a reminder in Agenda AND in Apple’s Reminders by simply deleting the reminder icon with the delete key.
(I know what is written down in the doc…but I cannot imagine the use case of deleting a reminder in Agenda BUT NOT in Apple’s Reminder…)

Based on personal observations I can say with total certainty that the most popular choice is not necessarily the best one.

The largest gatherings of “like minded” opinions are sometimes suffering from lemmings disease.

Exactly why we have the disclaimer. And there are things which we are thinking about which can’t really be conveyed in a poll (ie they are not faster horses )

Request: Sort by Completion Date using Find Note Shortcuts action

I would find it very useful to be able to sort by Completion Date when using the Find Note action. [image]

Heading changes to body text - markdown issue?

I have a heading in my note. I want to insert a line above the heading. I position the cursor at the beginning of the heading. I hit return. I now have a new line above the heading - but the heading has changed to body text. It’s as if I have deleted the # that sets the heading style for the line. I know I could insert a new line in a different way, (except when the heading is the first line of the note) but my muscle memory for keyboard short cuts keeps on doing this! Any chance it could be…

Feature Request: move child nodes when parents are moved

I would LOVE if Agenda added a feature to maintain parent-child relationships when moving parent bullets around (either up/down, dragging, or indenting/outdenting). I’ve heard this called logical outdenting in Logseq, or perhaps structural editing. I know that Agenda is not an outliner per se, but for me, this would give it many of the organizational benefits that I love about outliners, and also just makes a lot more sense for my brain. Currently, moving around nested child bullets seems to req…

Suggestion: ability to open Calendar event from note date picker

Often when a note is linked to a calendar event, I want to open that event in Calendar app to see more detail or make edits. It would be good if that was possible via the note’s date picker.
