Request: Sort by Completion Date using Find Note Shortcuts action

I would find it very useful to be able to sort by Completion Date when using the Find Note action.

Thanks for the feedback!

We don’t store the completion date in the data set, so it would be a bigger change. I assume you mean the last time it was Marked as Done, right?

Yes - the last time it was marked as done. Apple Reminders seems to work the same way with its Shortcuts actions.

Got it, thanks. We’ll take it along.

Checking/unchecking a list box will set the modified time. That’s for the whole note though. Another work around would be to insert a “\now or \time” after the check box. You could probably set that up as part of a template. The advantage to that, you’ll have recorded the time for that specific item which will be unaffected by any thing else you do in the note. If I remember correctly, the reason I started doing this was the inability to retrieve the related links for the currently selected note, also to avoid buying a time tracking app. Also I believe there are several(?) data items that can’t be accessed for retrieval and apparently changing that is a major thing.
