Resizing Table Column Width?

What I did: Created a table

What happened: A table was created

What I expected: Was looking to resize the table column width. Is this possible or maybe a future update?

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc): Agenda 14, iOS, macOS

No possible at this point, because the table has to work on different sized devices. Fixing the column widths would not work very well in this scenario.

We have some ideas about giving more control over it, and still respecting device size, but that is for a future update.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I’ve run into that with other note apps and viewing the note on different devices so totally get it.

I understood the point. But you wrote that there are some ideas on this topic. What is the current situation?
For me, it would be helpful to use the table full width of the screen and split it for example 20% to 80%. This would allow me to take notes in the Cornell style.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, we have been hard at work on some other big projects, and have not got to this.

Rest assured, it is high on my list. I hope to get to it. And, yes, your solution sounds similar to things I had in mind.

I use Agenda for education and rely on tables a lot of times.
Would love to see resizing and customization on table in the near future.

It’s a popular request and high on our list.

Out of interest, if you could pick a few features to add to tables, what are you missing the most?

The following are essential to tables.

  1. Resizing
  2. Add column/row (right/left)

We are certainly considering resizing of column widths.

What do you mean by add column/row? You can already do that.

Please ignore number 2.

Would also be great if full text format tool is enabled for texts within the table.
Ringt now, it seems like text formating in tables is limited to bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, alignment, superscript/subscript, fix width.

Yes, we certainly plan to add the formatting that makes sense there (eg links, highlights etc, tags, etc). Thanks for the feedback!

Just wanted to add my support for this request, both resizing tables and ability to format text within tables! I too use app pretty heavily for education. One more suggestion, allow more depth of subcategories under each project/document
Appreciate it!

Can you elaborate on the last bit? You can nest subcategories as deep as you like already.
