Reminders and Checkboxes

Loving the new Reminders integration.
One thing I expected which is absent:

If I create a checkbox item and the mark it ‘\remind(date)’, it creates a reminder as expected.
On completing the reminder, I would have hoped the checkbox in Agenda would also indicate that the task was complete, but it does not.

Could this be introduced?
Thanks

I see the point, but I think I prefer the current behavior.

Edit: As @mekentosj replied below, opt-in would be good. +1 in that case.

We have been thinking of adding this as an opt-in possibility, but we indeed also wanted to first see if this was a much requested feature.

+1 I’d like to have this feature

+1 as well. I’m surely biased, but I haven’t had a single reminder so far “independent” of its linked task, although I can see the use cases. Maybe opt-in per reminder? :see_no_evil:

Seems like synching checkbox status from Reminders > Agenda would be useful. At least it would save lots of clicks.

What would the downside be for the user?

I vote for this too

Ditto. This would be very useful.

I would definitely need the the two way communication between the Mac Reminder and tasks/checkbox in agenda, otherwise, its is too much clicking. I just bought Agenda less than 24 hours, hoping that this feaure is already implemented…
