Random bullets appearing in notes

What I did: start making a bullet list, add a few items to it

What happened: phantom bullets start appearing within the list. Sometimes at the end, sometimes in the middle. They have no text other than the bullet. They can be deleted by selecting them with the mouse and backspacing, but I cannot navigate to them using the cursor keys: they act as a barrier and I cannot cursor to them or past them. They occur at a rate of perhaps 1 every 1-2 seconds. It doesn’t happen in every note, just some. They occur even if I am currently working in another application. Eventually the behaviour stops. I’ve no idea what triggers them, or what causes them to stop. Restarting the application does not fix the issue.

What I expected: No random bullets!

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc): 2019 MBP 16", macOS 10.15.4, Agenda 9.3.2

Is it possible the bullets actually appeared in an earlier version of Agenda, and you didn’t notice them at that time?

In any case, we have a fix coming for this. It goes into the beta today, and will be in the store in a week or two.

Kind regards,
Drew

I only started using Agenda a couple of weeks ago. And the bullets appear in realtime; I can watch them appearing. But anyway, excited to hear there’s a fix!

The bullet problem is fixed in the beta that was released yesterday. If you would like to join the beta, let me know.

Kind regards,
Drew

Sure, I’d be interested in trying out the beta.

I’ve sent you a TestFlight invite for the iOS beta. For the Mac beta, you will need to download agenda for mac from https://agenda.com and then follow these instructions: https://agenda.community/t/help-us-beta-test-agenda/907
