I would like to be able to sort items (Categories, Projects) in the left sidebar manually. I would like to give some sort of priority in that.
Is there a provision for that or is it in the planning?

It’s still on our list, however inserting images and attachments is first, see The features we are working on right now…
So want this. If you had this, I could ditch Ulysses.

Currently I have the issue as well when I am planning my trip. I would like to arrange it by my planning Date, however, It always sorted by last modified time. I hope the feature can be added ASAP. Thanks guys.

That’s a different issue, you can already sort your notes in both directions by clicking the project title:
