Dropbox not syncing

What I did:

  • Have Agenda installed on iOS/macOS previously, both synced to Dropbox and working
  • Installed Agenda on a new computer; selected Dropbox sync
  • Note: The login I used for Agenda is -different- from the Dropbox client installed locally

What happened:

  • Agenda would only sync 1-3 notes; and some project were -old- projects that were renamed months ago
  • I’ve cleared out data in ~/Library/Containers and re-installed the app
  • Now, there are no projects at all and no syncing is occurring

What I expected:

  • To see all of my synced projects/notes

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
New Computer OS: 10.15.5
Old computer OS: 10.15.3
Agenda verions: 10.0.2

For now, try this:

  1. Turn off sync on each device, and choose to remove the data
  2. Wait 10 minutes
  3. Go into your Dropbox folder on the Mac. Look in Apps.
  4. Find the Agenda folder in Apps, and drag it to the trash
  5. Wait 30 minutes for that to propagate to Dropbox
  6. Start sync on one device (eg Mac). Let it just run for an hour or so
  7. Now start sync on another device. Again, be prepared to wait
