Ich möchte als Projektentwickler gerne meine Bautagebücher über Agenda in Verbindung mit Notability erstellen und führen. Jetzt habe ich zwei Projekte komplett in Agenda aufgesetzt, aber durch die großen Dateimengen, v.a. wohl der Fotos und der Unmenge an Dateien (Architektenpläne, Baubeschreibung, Gutachten etc.) dauert es ewig, wenn ich auch nur zwischen den beiden Projekten wechseln möchte. Eignet sich Agenda schlichtweg für diese Art der Anwendung nicht, oder muss ich die Fotos z.B. als link eingeben und diese in einem Ordner auf dem Mac Schreibtisch in der iCloud ablegen und sichern? Mal schauen, ob ein deutscher User mir antworten kann… Liebe Grüße Andreas
As a project developer, I would like to create and keep my construction diaries about Agenda in connection with Notability. Now I have completely set up two projects in the agenda, but due to the large amounts of files, especially Probably the photos and the huge amount of files (architect plans, building specifications, reports etc.) it takes forever if I even want to switch between the two projects. Is the agenda simply not suitable for this type of application, or do I have to use the photos, e.g. enter it as a link and save and save it in a folder on the Mac desktop in the iCloud? wenn der Wechsel zwischen zwei Projekten schon so lange dauert, eignet sich der gewählte Workflow wahrscheinlich eher nicht. Agenda ist primär eine datumsfokussierte Notizenverwaltung. Es kann zwar auch mit Bildern versehen werden – aber es ist halt keine Medienverwaltung.
Ich würde versuchen, alle projektbezogenen Notizen mit ihren Kalenderzugehörigkeiten in Agenda zu verwalten (das kann Agenda super), und die zugehörigen Dateien auf anderem Weg vorzuhalten.
Yes, best not to think of Agenda as a file manager. It can handle some documents, but it is not a replacement for Finder or iCloud in that sense.
It does start to get slow when you put a lot of attachments in a single note. Effectively it has to load those files to get previews etc, and that is expensive. We have some ideas about making this better, but I still think you would be better off putting the files somewhere else, and just linking to them in Agenda (drag file in and hold down CTRL as you drop it).

Ich habe gelesen, dass wenn man die Fotos wieder aus Agenda in Ordner verschiebt, das Projekt in Agenda die Bilder jedoch nicht vergisst und das Projekt trotzdem gleich groß bleibt. Hoffentlich nicht… Ich werde berichten. Danke noch einmal!! Andreas
Thank you for your answers. I will reorganize my projects and keep the large files and the many pictures on my desk in their own folders. I have read that if you move the photos from Agenda back into folders, the project in Agenda does not forget the images and the project still remains the same size. Hopefully not … I’ll report.
