Window redraws completely when opening “No notes” views

What I did:
Open a project with some notes. Then move to Search All, or On the Agenda (with no notes scheduled).

What happened:
The window “closes” and re-opens with the blank view.

What I expected:
The view state change without the window closing & re-opening.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):

  • Agenda version 9.0 (95)
  • macOS Catalina 10.15.1 (non-beta)
  • MacBook Pro 15” (2016)

The window close / new window open event is really fast. Like the window rapidly “flashes” off then on.

This is indeed something introduced in recent updates, I’ve just reworked some things that will hopefully resolve the issue in the next beta.
