What I did: Looked for a way to turn on spell check
What happened: Couldn’t find it
What I expected: Spell check to kick in automatically when I started to write a note
Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc): iOS

On iOS, spelling should work the same as in all apps, I believe. It probably depends on settings you have in the Settings app. You should have the normal autocomplete to help with spelling too.
What about spellchecking in MacOS?
On macOS, first put the cursor in a note, and then go to Edit > Spelling and Grammar. Change the settings. After that, they should apply in all the notes.
Is there still no spellcheck capability for Agenda on Macs?
There has always been spell check. To use it, put the cursor into a note in Agenda, and then change the settings in Edit > Spelling and Grammar. Changing those settings should update the settings for all notes.
Hope that helps!
In IOS, When I type misspelled words while composing an E-Mail, I get the little underline warning… typing mispelled words in Agenda note does not do this. Oddly enough typing mispelled words here in the community message box, DOES show the underlined warning.
The community is not part of Agenda proper, it is a web site that we show in the app. So it is using a different system.
Have you checked your settings in Settings > Keyboards > Autocorrection
Maybe there is a setting there that can help.
Do you never see a correction? With the settings I am using, it automatically corrects the words as I type, unless I override by tapping the word I typed, in which case it considers it correctly spelt.
Yes I have that setting onn. Like I said, it works in other apps, jusst nott in Agenda. I’ll keep tryying.
I purposely mistyped in Mail, so you can see it is wokring heree
Agenda:
Then it’s gone:
I think the behavior is different on iPhone vs iPad and on-screen keyboard vs external keyboard.
I will continue to explore differences. My iPhone seems to work ok, iPad not so much.

Yeah, I remember there are some challenges with iOS and the way the Agenda editor works. Maybe that is what you are seeing.
It’s not unexpected. The title is completely separate and is a much simple standard control. The text editor is extremely advanced from a technical perspective, and so is not as standard.
To be clear, we do understand why the spelling check works the way it does on iPad, but we haven’t been able to find a solution. Apple use special hidden tokens to track the spelling checks, and we haven’t found a way to preserve that in our editor. (Mac doesn’t have this problem, as it uses a different approach.)
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll keep trying to find a way around it.
