Can you put the day with the date?

For example: friday 28 aug 2018.

I see, we don’t allow customisation yet of the date shown next to the calendar, but it’s something we might add a preference for if we see this request more frequently.

I’d like this feature as well. Or something similar. When I want to schedule a new event (without note) on thursday this week I have to lookup the date (e.g. 11th of July) in the menu bar of my mac.

The next update will indeed show the weekday.
