To do Overview crashes every time

What I did: Click the “To Do” overview

What happened: Locks up every time, spinning ball.

What I expected:

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc): Agenda 23.0 (409), on a MacBook Pro (2019) running Tahoe 26.4

Had the same problem.

Restart helped.

Hmm, I will test it. Do you perhaps have very many notes with unchecked tasks?

If you wait a while, does it eventually stop beach balling?

No, it doesn’t eventually stop. I don’t think I have a lot of unchecked tasks…I’ll try to see…

So I deleted all my notes, made a new note with a reminder, clicked the “To Do” overview and it still locked up.

I deleted the app and reinstalled, same result.

After a while that worked. It is working now.

Glad it sorted itself out. The first time you open the To Do overview after upgrading to 23, Agenda may need to do some background work to update its task index, which can keep it busy for a bit. After that initial pass it should be quick. Let us know if it starts hanging again.

Note that To Do relates to notes having unchecked list items, not to reminders per se.
