When the final task on a To-Do is marked off, a minimal and simple animation of a stamp overlay is placed to scale over the list. Attached is one example, of course it doesn’t need to be that flashy, could throw a white layer over it and lower the whiteness opacity. But it would be a small detail of getting the list done and a positive effect. Also, “Done” is just one idea; could maybe have a selection of 10 such as: Yay!, 100%, Finished, Awesome Job, and so on.
