This is kind of a nitpick, but it gave me a bad impression. It kind of looks out of place from the otherwise minimalist style of the application.
For some reasons it also made me think of a web-app.
Sorry to hear that, we wanted to give a small touch to the app, all minimalist can also be too minimalist
