Text brought over from Calendar events

My calendar events tend to have a lot of text… agendas, dial in and webex links, etc. I wish there was a way to not have all of that appear in a linked note… makes the interface very cluttered, which is a shame for such a clean simple app.

We started stripping the dial in details etc for commonly used webconference platforms (webex, google hangouts), if you still see these imported can you post examples (or email them to me at alex@agenda.com if you’re concerned about private details) so we can include them in the filter?

Chiming in: Can I suggest stripping info for Zoom invites as well as the other services? Here is an example of the basic format (with some identifying stuff changed):

Inviter’s Name is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Thanks! I’ve added this one to the list, let me know if you encounter any other examples where Agenda still imports all the dial in details.

I hadn’t realized you were stripping that out… impressive. It’s all the other stuff that gets added to agendas, but I can delete that by hand. At times it does include useful information, so sometimes there are things I’d want to keep. Thanks!

Suggest you also strip out info for Skype for Business meeting invites.

We can do that but would need some sample notes, could you send us some? If you’re not comfortable posting them, could you email them to alex@agenda.com? If you hurry they can still make it in the next update

Thanks. Just sent you some examples.
