Shortcut to pop-up a new note in its own Window (Agenda 17)

Now, with Agenda 17, that we have the wonderful open a note in its own Window feature, I was wondering if it is possible to create a shortcut that would create a new note and immediatley have it display in its own window? That way I could just select the shortcut from the menubar and immediately have a blank note ready to go in its own window.

Any thoughts/help/ideas much appreciated,

This feature will become available in Agenda 17.0.3, it’s done already but didn’t make the cut for 17.0.2.

Unfortunately we had to roll it into version 18 as we decided not to do an intermediate v17 update, which means it takes a little bit longer still than we had foreseen alas…
