Please allow a preference to allow the user to choose between displaying the notes’ dates as either “Short” or “Medium” format. As of version 2.1.1 (paddle), the notes only display dates in “Medium” format. My “Short” format is ISO 8601 and would very much prefer it to be so. Thank you for considering this.

I would like to see something along these lines as well. The layout is fine on the Mac, but in iOS, I can’t see the note title (well, only the first few letters, which isn’t super helpful.)
If the date were shorter, I could see a bit more of the note title, which would help.

I have exactly the same problem (iPhone 5 SE). It makes this feature unusable for me 
yes, I totally agree! I either pointed out this issue some time ago…
We have an improved layout for iPhone coming up in the not too distant future.
