Set a Color date

When I use # for setting a date it comes out with a default color (Orange). As I like to set dates in Gray color, all the time I have to change it. Wouldn’t be possible to set as a default color one that we prefer? In this way, we don’t have to change it all the times. Thanks!

You mean when creating tags? Can you share a screenshots of what you try to create?

Yes, creating a Tag for a date. When I create a date the default color is Orange. I would like to set Gray as the default. Please, see the screenshot.

Unfortunately that isn’t possible at the moment, other than the way you currently do it. One possible solution would be to make use of text replacements, but it might be fiddly too.

  1. I wanted to check if it were yet possible to change the default #tag color. Speaking for myself, the built-in default orange is rarely used and only for special “on the agenda” items.
  2. The color black is not one of the color choices in tag manager so those have to be created with a color parameter. The other color I frequently use is grey which by the way is what a black tag is represented as in tag manager.
  3. Also related to tags, it still would be nice to not have the frame, it could be there, just transparent.
