Selecting all text in the title of an untitled note and typing it over does not work

What I did:

  1. Create a new project. This also created a new untitled note.
  2. Focused the note title.
  3. Pressed CMD+a to select all text in the Title field.
  4. Typed over, hoping to replace the word „Untitled“ with my text.

What happened:
The letters were not accepted. I instead heard the error sound as if I was entering currently invalid keys. In one instance, Agenda even crashed. I submitted the report with my account’s e-mail address yesterday afternoon when this happened.
What I expected:
The text I typed would simply replace the selection as is done in other text fields and editors.
Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
MacOS Big Sur on an M1 MacBook Air, Agenda 13, originally from the App Store, but also happens with the version downloaded from the website.
Also, VoiceOver was active at the time.

Thanks Marco, we’ll have a look and see if we can reproduce it. Might indeed be VoiceOver specific. I assume you input the letters through the keyboard normally?

Hi Marco,

I’ve been trying to reproduce this but it works as it should here. Do you still see these issues and if so, would it be possible to send a screenrecording of what you describe?
