Seems to be some menu(ing) issues

What I did: was testing another support topic

What happened: found that there is an additional issue; add to calendar opens reminders AND Cal with wrong cal app. Also I couldn’t find "Add new reminder(todo) except to paste the alarm in a note. Every menu I’ve checked says and goes to calendar, not fantastical. Now that I’m looking there is no task/todo/reminder selection in fantastical.

What I expected: That the menu would be the correct one, Fantastical for the last 2 years.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc): Version 21.0.2 (356) - MacOS 15.7.1 (24G231)

Agenda actually doesn’t integrate with other calendar apps directly, like Fantastical. In fact, I believe Fantastical works directly with the cloud, so I’m not even sure it is possible.

What Agenda does is to put events into the Event Store of your device. That is a shared database which any app can access. Apple’s apps (Calendar, Reminders) use that too, so that’s why things appear in them.

If I am missing something, can you describe where you find the menu item or command?

Looking a the screenshot, it looks like something from the system, not Agenda.

I did find “Show Date in Calendar…” in the context menu when I selected a date. Is that what you mean?

I would need to investigate if Agenda has access to the system default calendar app setting.

Kind regards,
Drew

Mine has always opened the default calendar app but under services there is a send to fantasical that opens the correct date and the highlighted text

Apologies, this was a big never mind. The cal & reminder app-specific-p/w s were in but somehow they weren’t checked any longer. It was either the cat or my ex.
