Search and Link

Typically when I work, I like to use keyboard shortcuts to do most things. Is there a way to do so for linking? i.e. can I press say cmd + k followed by a dropdown for navigating to agenda notes so that a link can be created? The current process is not as seamless.

And cmd+k opens up a text box where it says link destination, but I can’t put note names there it seems.

Finally can we do the same linking for local markdown files etc. (i.e. non agenda notes).

We don’t currently have a fast way to link to a note. There is a menu, but it requires several clicks (on Mac, you can use Note > Link To menu).

We are planning to work on autocompletion in the near future. We will consider if we can somehow include local links.

Thanks for the feedback!

Update: Agenda 14 now supports much easier insertion of links to other notes, as well as backlinks through the related notes panel in the inspector, you can see it in action here
