Restore from Dropbox backup

What I did:
Selected ‘Sync with Dropbox’ on my old laptop
Moved to a new laptop
Signed into my account
Selected ‘Sync with Dropbox’

What happened:
No notes show up in Agenda

All the sync files appear to be in Dropbox/Apps/Agenda-app

What I expected:
All my notes to be restored

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
OS: OSX 10.14.6
Agenda: 9.3.2 (118)

I think what. you are seeing is just a very slow sync. Unfortunately Dropbox sync is very slow at this point. You could try connecting your device to power, and turning off the automatic sleep, and let it go for a few hours. See if the data appears.

The good news is that we just spent some time improving this a lot. We will release a new beta of the improvements today, and the the new version should be released in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Drew - I’ll try the beta, and give it a few hours. I also backed up the data folder myself, but would like to make sure I can rely on the dropbox backup!

Drew, it didn’t work, and copying over the data folder doesn’t work either. How do I recover my notes?

Ok, figured it out - had to uninstall agenda, copy over the data, then install it again.
