Recent edited notes + Related notes - not updating

What I did:
I’ve been using Agenda for about a week and love it. It’s great! I’ve edited lots of notes and tagged lots of different notes with the same people…

What happened:
The related sidebar on the RHS: Related Notes is always empty. The Recently Edited Notes isn’t empty but never updates. Even when I edit notes.

What I expected:
I thought the Related Sidebar on the RHS would automatically update to show Recently Edited Notes and Related Notes. The Calendar seems to work fine… but the other two bits seem to be DOA. Is this a known bug with this version>

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
Agenda 2.5.1
macOS 10.14
On a first gen MacNook

There can be a small lag while the search index gets updated. Does the list update if you wait a little? After a restart of the app?

Also, does it update if you quit and restart Agenda?

Hi both. Thanks so much for your replies.

Yes I’m aware of the lag. I see it when I add or edit events directly in the Calendar app …. but those updates do eventially appear in the sidebar on the right hand side.

For the Recently Edited Note and Related Notes also in the sidebar, it seems I need to quit the Agenda app and restart it. Doing that does fix it though.
