At the moment, there seems to be a limit to how ‘thin’ Agenda can be made (i.e. drag the window to be the smallest width possible). I don’t see why there is a limit - sometimes I want this Window to be as thin as possible so I can make notes with the Agenda window to the side of another app which is taking up most of the screen. The thinner the better!

Thanks for the feedback, there has to be a minimum limit for things to work well under all conditions (certain UI elements being visible etc), but indeed we kept it on the safe side. You’ll be happy to hear that in the next update it will be possible to make the window quite a bit smaller.
In the 2.0 update you should be able to resize the Agenda window to much smaller limits.
