I had 2 small queries about assigning dates to notes:
Is it possible to assign two non-consecutive dates to a single note (e.g. assign to 17 Oct and 20 Oct only, rather than the entire range from 17th to 20th)?
Is there a way to automatically assign dates based on the date mentioned in the note title or body? I currently include dates in my note title using \ date, so I’m wondering if that could be automatically recognized and assigned as the note’s date as well? (The date in the title might not necessarily be today’s date, so the feature to assign new notes to today doesn’t help in this case.)
Another option for 2. is to insert the relevant data using text actions.
You can do this directly in the note with \date, or you can use it in a template.
However, when it comes to assigning the note to a specific date, the options are somewhat limited.
Direct assignment in the note also works with text action.
Unfortunately, \assign-date does not work in a template.
Thanks @Roms for informing me about the \assign-date feature.. I wasn’t aware of it.
I think I will just include “\assign-date” in my template note and manually add the exact date each time I create a new note. This way I’ll at least remember to assign the correct date to the note.
