Proposal for a few changes

Hi,

I’ve been using Agenda for many years, and I’m still impressed with the capabilities of your app. I know this topic has been brought up before, but it would be great to see the following features added:

  • the ability to change the text color in tables (for individual cells),
  • the option to set text alignment for rows, not just columns,
  • and something I’m really looking forward to – the automatic movement of completed checklist items to the bottom of the list (similar to Apple Notes),
  • maybe in the future, it would also be possible to allow inserting elements into table cells using „", especially the ability to insert, for example, a date or a checklist item would be very useful.

Thanks for your great work!

Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, the table formatting options are a common request, and we’d like to tackle those.

Note that on the Mac we have Edit > Checklist > Move Checked to Bottom. It isn’t exactly what you are asking, but it does have a shortcut, and if you hit that, it is pretty easy to move stuff down. If you get used to the shortcut, it will feel almost automatic.

Kind regards,
Drew

It would also be helpful if the table columns could be stretched more widely, and for text to be justified in the centre of cells. Thanks.

How? I just tried, and couldn’t stretch the columns.

Maybe my version is old. Can you tell me the steps to stretch the columns? Tried dragging, right clicking. Nothing worked.

(Apple Notes also doesn’t seem to do it, so it is quite rare in notes apps I think.)
