Copied a few cells from a Numbers spreadsheet and pasted into a note as plain text.
Was added as a table, which I admit could be very handy. But I actually wanted just the text.

So you used Edit > Paste As > Plain Text and still got the table?
Yup! That’s exactly what I did.
