Hi, like in other text editing tools, I would like to have the formatting functions as a bar pinned when editing a note.

We don’t use a bar, because it could get busy. One difference between Agenda and the other apps is that we have a timeline with multiple notes onscreen, rather than just one at a time.
One thing you can do on the Mac is “tear off” the formatting palette, so it floats. To show the palette, put the cursor in a note, and click the button on the left side (small circle). Drag the top of the palette and it turns into a small window, which serves a similar purpose to the bar. It will follow as you move between notes.
