Feature request: when in a presentation and taking photos of slides, document scanning works pretty well- unless you’re sitting far. Can you add camera zoom to solve this? OneNote offers this.

Thanks for the suggestion. The document scanner is provided by Apple’s VisionKit, so we do not have direct control over the camera UI, but I will check whether there is a zoom option we can expose. We will take it along.
I suspect the reason you can’t zoom is that at some point the quality is no longer good enough to see text, and then the scanning doesn’t have a lot of point.

Never tried this, always used standard photos which I can’t crop later! Does the scan function create an image or ocr text (which wouldn’t work with diagrams!)
It does auto framing.. it’s really good.
I could see that being an issue - but for my use case, it’s the document scanner in photo mode. Not looking for OCR
Edit: btw- if there is another way to do this- let me know ![]()
Can you tell me the steps you take to do it? Which button do you press?
There are a few ways to give images into Agenda on iOS: you tap the + button above the keyboard, but then you can select either the scan option, or the standard camera button. I think you should be able to zoom with the camera, but maybe not with the scanner.
Kind regards,
Drew
