Thank you so much for this. I was about to subscribe to GPT, but have determined that Perplexity Pro has access to both Chat GPT-5, the various Claude models, and itself for current info. I signed up, set a reminder for 9/1/2026, and figured I would get the educational instructor discount at that time. I asked it about the various capabilities of each of these models with regard in particular to being a professor and have attached its output as a PDF if you are interested.
