Ordering Pinned Notes

What I did:

  • Created three undated notes
  • tried to drag them to the order in which I wanted them

What happened:

  • Wouldn’t move to the correct order. Order seems to be based on the time at which they were created.

What I expected:

  • Notes to move to the location I put them! I’ve tried unpinning and re-pinning. This allows me to get two notes in the right order, but the third note refuses to be dragged to the top of the project

Indeed ordering of pinned notes can be improved, something on our to-do list.

Pinned notes always go to the top. So my workaround today is to:

  1. Unpin the notes
  2. Order them how I want
  3. Starting from the bottom of the list, pin them and work my way up

Do that any time you want to rearrange them…

(I really like pinned notes and wish I could use them more often, but this is a sticking point for sure. Patiently waiting for it to be improved…)

For my particular use case, being able to collapse sections of a note would do away with three pinned notes in one project! I use collapse note atm to hide detail.
