Thanks for the suggestion. Given that not everybody is using the formatting palette (you can also use keyboard shortcuts, text actions, markdown syntax, etc) we don’t think it should always be shown. Having said that, in the next update of Agenda we hope to bring something that’s even better, stay tuned!
