I’m becoming increasingly concerned about data sovereignty. I’d move to Linux if I could still run Agenda!
It’s nice to think our app is good enough to keep you on the Mac ![]()
I understand your concern, but the market is really way too small for a small team to do, without sacrificing the main Mac and iOS apps.
My advice would be to find a similar app on Linux. There should be some good open source ones over there, I would think.
Sorry I haven’t got any better news.
(As an aside: I used Linux a lot back in about 2000. At that time, we were waiting for it to be the year of Linux on the Desktop. Still waiting unfortunately
)
Kind regards,
Drew
Thanks! I suspected that would be your answer re a Linux version.
Been thinking about this since events in the last few years, and prompted to again by this recent episode of Tech Wont Save us: We Need to Cut Our Dependence on US Tech. Here’s How to Start
But one thing they pointed out, was not to get too hung up on cleansing one’s own tech, and focus as much on systemic change, raising awareness, lobbying politicians etc.
Trillium Notes might be something to look at: https://triliumnotes.org
A web app would be awesome!
I use Linux and its using Linux that stops me using Agenda unfortunately ![]()
