When moving an item to trash, I prefer to leave the confirmation window open, but it would be nice to be able to hit the enter or return key to confirm the red Move to Trash choice, rather than having to click on it with the mouse or trackpad.
Not unlike the Finder’s:
Or “delete” key to confirm.
Command-Delete brings up that box, so I suppose Delete alone could work, but typical MacOS uses Return and Enter to confirm highlighted/default choices.
This is typical Apple I’m afraid, we use the system provided APIs for that dialog, Finder seems to use it’s own custom one. If we mark the button as a “destructive action” it will become red and Apple automatically disables the enter keyboard shortcut as it would be too easy to in a reflex perform the action. We’ll consider if it’s ok to turn it in a regular non-destructive action.
