Let me start with saying the i love most of the features and the structures in Agenda.
So keep up the great work ;-;
But if there is some time in the roadmap please consider:
Creating a link to a not existing (or new note)
A more freely config of headers, font sizes etc (also for printing)
This would help a lot of people stick with one system
Thanks for the feedback! We’ll definitely take it along.
Can you explain what exactly you want with a link to a non-existing note? I assume you can make one, because you can put in any URL you like, but it won’t point at anything.
It should be possible to have some operation to create a link and new note at the same time. The challenge I guess is where to put the note, I suppose. It would probably require a menu to choose the project.
You can change fonts and font sizes now, but not freely as you say. You can’t mix them. We’ll take this along too. Thanks!
In Osidian in van put a [[link to a new file]] and it this does not exist is wil have a different color.
When i click the link the new file is create.
Some times i’m taking notes and think [[this should be a new note]] but it does not always add up to a note.
Ah, the wiki way of creating new entries! Very useful there. But then we’d also need a way to list all such dangling links so we’d know what’s still to be documented.
Perhaps a smart overview with a search for \link(non-existing) would suffice.
Another thought on the subject of links.
I find links to text blocks or paragraphs very useful. Obsidian and the forum software here can do this, for example. It would be another useful addition to Agenda.
If you have an idea for a new note, create one: type “the idea”
⌘X,
⌃⌥=, type “idea” or “possible” or whatever for a 1 word title,
⌘V in the body, write more if you want,
⇧⌘L,
double click the back-link,
paste the link in your original note.
Personally I would paste “Ideas” in their own project. Room to expand/flesh the idea out.
This reminds me of scheduling a todo with no estimated duration!
