It would be nice if internal links would stand out visually (different color or note icon next to the link or something). Also internal links should be included in the related notes section.

Yes plus one for this! I can see a kind of « box » just like the tags with a color just slightly darker than the background (at least for light theme) and a small logo (like inline pictures) which would mirror of the top right corner dot of the linked note. Thus showing if it’s on the agenda or if it’s marked as completed.

@mekentosj Has this already been implemented? I would like to change the text colour of some links, but it doesn’t work.
No, currently links (and their color) take precedence over text color. We hope to bring more options for how links are displayed in the future.

Very interesting and equally crazy intense research. Thanks for sharing. I actually only knew the green colour on monochrome screens in the early 90s.
