if you define a search in a section, for example that the completed items are not shown, and then you create a new task, not only the search is lost, but also the possibility to specify one.

The problem is probably that with a filter applied, adding a new note would generally hide that new note. Imagine you searched for the word “car”. Then you press new note. You get a note without the word “car”, so it won’t appear. For this reason, we clear the filter to ensure your new note will appear.
