Lost notes after switching between apps

hello there , I was in the process of writing notes on a project that I created , I switched to another app , and when I came back to my notes , everything after my cursor just disappeared , it happened 3 times , this Is fairly annoying . is there at list an undo function somewhere ?

That doesn’t sound right. Between which apps did you switch? How much time was in between and on which device/iOS or Mac version are you?

I switched to facebook , on my iPhone 6+s IOS version 11.4.1(15G77)
