Links from sites requiring an account changed to "Sign in"

Say I copy this text below

Incident 306499443 : Test

In most other apps, the title “Incident 306499443” will be preserved, but in Agenda my only 2 options are to either unfurl the entire link or else it’s going to say “Sign In”.

The only workaround I’m aware of is to manually write the display text myself, but doing this over and over gets old.

Let me know if there’s a feature I’m not aware of to stop Agenda from doing this and preserve the original display text.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):

Can you send us a full example link (if you don’t want to share it here, you can email it to alex@agenda.com)? We might be then able to disable it for this domain.

But in the mean time there are two solution. If the link has already changed to Sign in, the workaround is to right-click > Edit Link, then change the display text, or choose Display as Full URL in the inspector.

To prevent that this happens with newly pasted links you can first type a backslash character (\) and then paste the link, this too will keep the link as is.

Hope that helps!

Mail sent, thanks!

Thanks Devin, I’ve added a fix for both the URLs you sent in Agenda 14.1
