Hi there – quick suggestions. I find often that I need to link a note to a calendar event representing a meeting, during which a project or task is decided, with a deadline in the future. I’d find it supremely useful to be able to link the note to both the meeting in my calendar and a date in the future representing the deadline or due date of any tasks discussed at that meeting. I know this is quite a big addition to your concept/architecture, the idea of due dates, and perhaps there are already ways to represent this? Reminders are an option but they don’t surface the date in quite the way I’d like.
Thanks!
As a workaround, you could duplicate the note once completed and assign the deadline date to the duplicated note?
Still not ideal, but possible.
Have you tried using the tag #due for upcoming appointments?

You have one meeting note which will link to one ‘meeting’ calendar event. Each task can also be linked with the meeting note. When finished, selecting the meeting note will display in the “Related Panel” a backlink for each task note. Selecting a task will display the backlink to the meeting note and the other tasks.
Interesting – thanks shall try! I haven’t delved into tags yes, and was wondering how to use them; rather than by topic, by type, that’s a good idea.
