is there a way (if not see this as a feature request) to link from an agenda note to a file or folder in finder. ideally I would like to have a link in my note that opens a specific folder so that I can store large files outside of Agenda still with direct access (i realize this wont be compatible with iOS unless I have my files on iCloud
If you hold the control key while dragging a file or folder from the finder into a note (make sure it has the cursor blinking) it will create the kind of link you’re looking for.
Unfortunately these file:/// links don’t work for me since updating to macOS 27. I get an error " The application “Agenda” does not have permission to open…"
Thanks for the report, and sorry for the trouble. This came from a change in our last update. We have fixed it now, and the fix comes in the next update.
Until then, right-click the link and choose Open Link. That still works, and shows the file or folder in Finder.
Until the update, you can drag the file from Finder into the note once. That gives Agenda access to the file until you quit Agenda, and the link then opens with a click.
After the update, a file link that Agenda can’t open directly will show the file selected in Finder, and you can double-click it there.
