What I did: tying with bopomofo (Traditional Chinese) in a note on iPad
What happened: keep lagging and seems not work smoothly for the note (long with tags), even in English is slower than on Mac, but for the short note is quite fine.

Things that might be helpful to know (Agenda version, OS and model, etc):
Agenda 17, iPadOS 16.3.1, iPadPor 12.9 (2019)
Long notes, notes with attachments, notes with big tables. These can slow down quite a bit. My suggestion is to split really long notes into multiple smaller ones as a workaround.
We are always looking to improve performance, but there are some limits related to device memory which make it very difficult to go beyond a given point.
Yes, do believe it may cause by the devices but hope we can have some solution as Bear or other note apps would not trigger lag for long note.
That’s because they only show a single note on the screen. We show hundreds at a time. It’s a much more difficult problem to solve.
