When you say it depends of where you change it, do you mean you change it on one device, and then it syncs to another device, and on that other device you can’t read the text? Can you read it on the original device?
An example step by step:
- the default font Avenir Next is set on both devices (iPad+iPhone).
Then see this on both devices:
iPad
iPhone
- i change the font to Palatino on the iPad and see this on the iPad:
- after approx. 2-6 seconds the font is synchronized on the iPhone and I see this:
- if I then change the font on the iPhone to Atkinson Hyperlegible, the iPhone displays the
- and after synchronization on the iPad
The results are sometimes random and depend on where the font is changed first. The error is more frequently reproducible with certain fonts than with others.
Do you see how the fonts are mixed in the examples?
Yes, the fact that they are different fonts is very likely due to caching of the image. My guess is, and maybe you can check, that if you switch to a different image that has not been loaded yet, it will have the correct font.
What perplexes me more is the missing title. Not sure how that happens.
I think I have fixed this in Agenda 20. I was able to reproduce the issue where if you synced over a font change, the images text would not refresh. Now I have it working every time.
Thanks for reporting this.
Nice to hear. Thank you!
I would now like to take this opportunity to repeat my question:
Because we figured if you pick a font on one device, you more than likely want it on your other devices too.
Our settings are either specific to a device, or synced. They can’t be both. We figured most people would want this setting synced. It was just a judgment.
We’ll take along your request, and if we hear it more often, will rethink it. Thanks for the feedback!
Quick question not ready for its own topic.
What is the relationship between Agenda font size slider and point value?
If I remember correctly, we picked sizes that worked well on Mac, and then scaled those to look a similar size on iOS. So it is not a simple fixed size.
