Is there a simple way to import .rtf - notes?

No import at this point, but you can copy and paste. Note that you lose most formatting at this point though.
I will take it this is a feature request. We will see if we can support it in future.

Easier to transfer files with formatted styles
One challenge with this is that RTF doesn’t have any semantics. We can add bold or italic to the text, but we can’t easily tell if the text is meant to be a heading or just a highlighted piece of text. For that reason, we have just opted for plain text, with the idea that the user is best placed to apply styles.
