What I did:

I tried importing a markdown where I keep my daily journal. I tried to import this markdown into a project, but that basically split the markdown file into several different notes.

What I expected:

I expected that this markdown would be imported into a single note instead of multiple.

Does your markdown contain “---” to indicate horizontal rules? These are currently interpreted as splits of notes. Easiest would be to do a find-and-replace of them in the markdown file if you don’t want this behaviour.
