How to search for items due in the next month

I’m trying create a search for items due in the next month. Searching for #due(1 month) indeed returns items due in the next month, however, it also returns items that were due in the next month a year ago. I’m finding items due, for example, Aug 21, 2019 and Aug 21, 2018.

Am I using the wrong search term, or is this a bug?

(This is on the latest version of Agenda, 6.0.1, on Mojave)

Click on SEARCH
Click on the Calendar icon
Select NEXT MONTH

You can add this as a Search term in the paid version
