Agenda has always supported dragging in an email. You have to make sure it is a single email, not a thread.
The limitation is really on the side of Apple Mail. It doesn’t support the Copy command, and does not have any share control like most apps. I have no idea why Apple haven’t added it, but that leaves dragging as the only real option.
I have also been working on an MBA since January and am happy to at least be able to link my emails to Agenda via drag and drop. This function is missing on the iPad and iPhone. I do it with Spark, but I really only want to use Apple Mail.
And yes, I would be very happy to have this function in Agenda at some point, if Apple allows it.
Please don’t misunderstand, as I respect and appreciate your reply.
I’m a long time paid supporter of Agenda.
It would be great for the developer to join the conversation; as a business owner, you can’t blame someone else for holding you back. Being able to add one email or a complete email string quickly is essential.
Other apps, such as Things App, have come up with a solution that works great.
Thank you, and I look forward to the developer’s input and timeline.
A workaround is a relatively cheap app called Hook - you can create a hyper link back to emails / files / websites etc and then paste into anywhere else - I use loads on a mac - not sure where they have got to on an iPad / MacOS sync solution yet but if you are predominantly mac then Hook is a game changer - no affiliation
