I use Agenda on my business iPad linked to my business iCloud account. I have many notes in over 50 projects and want to export all notes and projects at once, either as PDF or Agenda file(s), to transfer them to my private iPad.
Company policy does not allow installing or using Dropbox on my business iPad, or logging into my business iCloud from my private Mac.
What options do I have to export and transfer at once my data?
By far the best format is to use Agenda file. That is a direct copy of Agenda’s internal format.
Note that exporting and importing is not the same as syncing. The two copies will be distinct, and unrelated, and changes to one will not update the other. You should be aware of that.
Furthermore, if you ever do sync in the future, you will effectively have duplicates of everything. Each copy is seen as a different note.
If you do want to do this, you should be able to select and export projects as Agenda file format, and import them on the other device.
You can select multiple projects to export by holding the shift or CMD key as you click. Be careful not to make really big files by including projects with many images or other large data files.
Hope that helps!
Thanks! I just tried exporting one project as an Agenda file — works great! I’ll move the rest over later.
