What I did: I signed up with one Gmail account but want to change to an account that matches my Apple ID
What happened: Reminders app is not connecting with Agenda. I"m assuming it’s because the email addresses are not the same.

Reminders should not depend on email used at all. Both Agenda and Reminders use iCloud.
It could be that you need to give Agenda access to Reminders. You can find that in the Settings app under Privacy. Make sure Agenda has access there.
