How to add link to another note on iOS/iPadOS?

On my Mac I’m loving using [[ to insert a link to another note.

But I can’t work out how to do this on mobile. (Using [[ works but it’s quite a few taps on the soft keyboard). I would expect to be able to search it in the “+” menu > link, but it seems I can only navigate to a note. Am I missing something obvious?!

Hi,

It does work with the “plus” button.
“+” → type “link” → look for something like (not sure, have Agenda running in Dutch) “note-title”.

Yes, the menu of notes comes up, but as far as I can see, there’s no way to search - just a list of ‘recently edited’ or I need to navigate through my category and project structure. Or perhaps I can’t see the search option?

If you don’t tap and hold “+”, type a backslash first, then “link”, then scroll to “note-title” tap that and type in the name of the note you want to link to.
Et voila.
Good luck.

Got it, thanks!

Just be trying this for real. Have to say I’m not find it quick. I think I’ll stick with typing: Number shift > Symbol shift > [[

Maybe set up a text replacement in Keyboard settings.

Don’t give up! You can do it! You’ve got the technology!
